# 10 AI Visibility Data-Handoff Options for Your Own Analytics System

By Daoyu Guan

Choose the handoff route your analytics team can operate: files for a controlled import, an API for a maintained data pipeline, or a documented connector for a supported reporting destination. Then verify the objects that arrive, their relationships, how corrections propagate, and who maintains the connection. An export does not establish API access. An API does not establish complete history, full answers, restricted customer access, or a ready-made dashboard.

**Publisher disclosure:** Xindar publishes this guide and offers Semvi by Xindar, which appears first as our own scenario starting point for monitoring plus separately scoped implementation. This is a commercial editorial order, not an independent ranking, numerical score, or finding that Semvi has the strongest API. The remaining nine providers are grouped by the handoff route examined below.

Official material was reviewed on November 2, 2026. These are documented supplier capabilities and proposed acceptance requests. No customer accounts, live credentials, installed connectors, or paid export workflows were tested.

## Compare the delivery route, not the integration logo

This shortlist evaluates six dimensions: transfer route, available objects, association keys, historical and revision scope, permissions, and implementation ownership. We use no weighted scores because public documentation does not provide a common account test.

The buying decision starts at the destination. A spreadsheet import, a client-owned warehouse, and a shared reporting dashboard need different operations. Connecting Google Analytics into a monitoring product is also a different direction from sending monitoring answers into your analytics system.

The categories describe the evidence examined, not an exhaustive inventory or a claim that every route is available on every plan.

## 1. Semvi by Xindar: begin with a demonstrated file handoff

Xindar's [Semvi product explanation](https://www.aixindar.com/products/geowatch) attributes complete-answer and citation-URL exports, ChatGPT and Gemini consumer-web sampling, and at least one year of retention to its product team. Retention can extend with the agreed service term. Those statements support discussing an evidence handoff; they do not establish a customer-facing API.

For a team commissioning [export-marketing implementation](https://www.aixindar.com/services/export-marketing), ask for a separate proposal to map that export into its own analysis process. Neither a connector nor implementation work should be assumed to accompany software access.

Require a demonstration of the actual route, fields, refresh procedure, and permissions. Export linkage, authenticated account behavior, audit logs, and Google Search/AI Overviews/AI Mode coverage remain unverified here. Do not confuse API-based collection from an AI provider with an outbound Semvi API.

## 2. Semrush: use a scheduled file route deliberately

Semrush's [Prompt Tracking documentation](https://www.semrush.com/kb/1503-prompt-tracking) describes Excel, CSV, semicolon-separated CSV, and Google Sheets exports. It also describes scheduled email delivery at daily, weekly, or monthly intervals.

That provides a specific route for a reporting team without a custom API pipeline. It does not establish that a table download contains the complete answer visible in a separate snapshot.

Ask for one proposed export with its column definitions and active filters. Name who receives it, imports it, detects changed columns, and investigates a missing delivery. A scheduled email is a delivery mechanism, not proof that your warehouse has ingested the attachment. Other Semrush APIs should not be assumed to expose this exact dataset.

## 3. Gumshoe: choose the correct data product before mapping it

Gumshoe's [export-content guide](https://support.gumshoe.ai/hc/en-us/articles/53957942294035-What-does-each-Gumshoe-export-contain) distinguishes its JSON audit, conversation CSV, source CSV, and calculated PDF summary. Its [API guide](https://support.gumshoe.ai/hc/en-us/articles/44885365846291-How-Do-I-Find-and-Use-My-Gumshoe-API-Key) describes connecting Visibility Audit data to existing systems, with API access requiring enablement.

A conversation row can represent a brand mention rather than one whole observation. A citation file has another grain. Therefore, request a mapping that explains how mentions and sources attach to answers.

Do not assume that importing every row recreates Gumshoe's displayed visibility percentage. Confirm activation, permissions, history, and the relevant calculation separately. The operational choice is occasional structured extraction versus an enabled, maintained API integration.

## 4. Ahrefs Brand Radar: identify which prompt population enters the warehouse

Ahrefs publishes an [AI Responses endpoint](https://docs.ahrefs.com/en/api/reference/brand-radar/post-ai-responses) with report identifiers, field selection, model sources, country filters, and an explicit distinction between Ahrefs prompts and custom prompts.

This fits a team that can operate an API and needs the origin of each dataset to remain visible. Broad research and a customer's configured prompt panel should not acquire the same label merely because both come from Brand Radar.

Ask the implementer to declare the prompt population, report, requested fields, and date parameters in the delivery specification. Confirm answer and citation contents using the actual response. An endpoint name does not prove unlimited history, full text in every selected field set, or the access rights of downstream dashboard viewers.

## 5. Profound: specify fields and report endpoints separately

Profound's [external API reference](https://api.tryprofound.com/redoc) documents answer retrieval with response and citation fields, cursor pagination, and explicit field selection. Its current schema makes detailed citation information an additional requested field rather than something to assume from every default response.

The [Answer Engine Insights guide](https://help.tryprofound.com/articles/5194011335-interpret-answer-engine-insights-v2?lang=en) also distinguishes answer exports from citation exports according to the selected tab.

Request a written mapping between the API version, answer records, citation records, and the customer's tables. Confirm endpoint-specific date semantics and how the agreed historical window is obtained. These documents support technical planning, not a claim that the customer's full pipeline, subscription access, or historical reconstruction has been demonstrated.

## 6. Rankscale: check the execution record and the key's authority

Rankscale documents [CSV and Google Sheets exports](https://help.rankscale.ai/articles/7899818507-exporting-your-data) at execution level, including an explicit warning that answer text is unavailable for some engines. Its [Metrics API introduction](https://help.rankscale.ai/articles/9007769424-getting-started-with-the-metrics-api) describes reporting and raw-run export on selected plans.

The API key follows its creator's permissions; the guide also describes operations that can change a workspace. This is more specific than an undifferentiated API checkbox.

Ask for the exact required engine's record and a key configuration appropriate to reporting. Identify which operations the integration will use and what it can alter. A successful metrics query does not establish that the required answer text or complete historical coverage is available.

## 7. OtterlyAI: scope the read integration to its workspace

OtterlyAI's [API help page](https://help.otterly.ai/do-you-provide-an-api-for-otterlyai) describes programmatic brand mentions, coverage, citations, sentiment, share of voice, and prompt-level results. It distinguishes read-only from read-and-write keys, selected by an administrator for a workspace, and identifies plan-dependent access.

That is a useful starting point for a customer's maintained reporting integration. The page's examples of BI destinations are not evidence that a bespoke Power BI or warehouse pipeline has already been supplied.

Request the endpoint and representative response for each required object. Confirm which record contains answer text, how citations relate to it, and what dates are retrievable. Keep the customer responsible for approving destination access while naming whoever maintains the extraction.

## 8. Peec AI: a connector still needs a report designer

Peec's [Data Studio connector documentation](https://docs.peec.ai/looker/introduction) describes a project-scoped API key and dimensions including prompt, model channel, date, project, and source URL. Its [template guidance](https://help.peec.ai/article/do-you-offer-a-template-for-looker-studio-v9tql6fxdg7yw2ct5yq8gywq) explicitly says that no report template is provided to copy.

This suits a team able to design its own reporting views. The listed connector dimensions do not establish a full-answer-text export through that connector.

Ask the builder to show the actual dimensions and metric definitions needed for the customer's decisions. Specify who builds calculations and maintains filters after schema changes. A working data source is one deliverable; an accepted customer report is another.

## 9. Scrunch: keep the raw-response route distinct from the query route

Scrunch's [API explanation](https://origin.scrunchai.com/faqs/what-types-of-data-can-i-access-through-the-scrunch-api) separates aggregate query metrics from raw responses containing answer text, citations, and metadata. Its [Data Studio template guide](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/12161184-using-the-scrunch-data-studio-templates-formerly-looker-studio) uses Query scope and describes connector access for Agency and Enterprise organization administrators.

The guide warns that leaving brand selection unrestricted allows a key to query all organization brands. A dashboard filter alone is consequently insufficient evidence of restricted credential scope.

Ask which route supplies the management chart and which supplies its supporting answers. Confirm the intended account's eligibility and brand restrictions, then inspect destination permissions. A prebuilt template does not establish a raw-answer archive or an automatically isolated client report.

## 10. Writesonic: inspect the connector's separate sources

Writesonic's [GEO Looker Studio integration guide](https://docs.writesonic.com/docs/writesonic-geo-looker-studio-integration) describes a Business API key, an exact website-URL match, and separate data sources for overall performance, individual responses, citations, and configuration.

Its field reference identifies response IDs, full answer text, citation URLs, and related metadata. Those are concrete reasons to investigate this connector when a customer wants both charts and evidence views.

Ask the report builder to demonstrate the actual relationship between response and citation sources. Do not assume that similarly named identifiers are interchangeable or that every join is one-to-one. Confirm date controls, refresh behavior, destination sharing, and maintenance ownership. The documented connector does not establish a deployed customer integration.

## The relationship test: three answers can become six misleading rows

Consider a wholly fictional exercise with three invented answers. Every answer has at least one brand-mention row. The first has two citation rows and two brand rows; the second has one citation row and one brand row; the third has no citation rows and one brand row.

Joining each answer to both child tables with left joins produces 4 + 1 + 1 = 6 rows: the uncited third answer retains a row with an empty citation. Using inner joins produces 4 + 1 = 5 rows and removes the third answer. Neither row count represents the three original answers. A report counting joined rows as answers changes the population before calculating visibility.

Ask each finalist to show separate answer, mention, and citation objects, with documented links between them. The accepted destination should retain three distinct answers and three citation relationships in this example. No vendor was tested with these records.

A corrected brand match adds another decision: does the source revise an existing classification, produce a versioned record, or expose only its latest state? Preserve the customer's own review separately from the supplier's classification. Otherwise the next refresh can erase a decision the analyst intended to retain.

## Send every finalist the same executable handoff request

The request should name the destination, data owner, required objects, and acceptance evidence:

1. **Demonstrate the route.** Deliver a representative permitted sample through the proposed file, API, or connector into a customer-controlled test destination.
2. **Map the objects.** Provide field meanings, record grain, answer-to-citation associations, and treatment of uncited or incomplete observations. Mark unavailable context explicitly.
3. **Define history and revisions.** State the earliest available period, backfill limits, classification-change behavior, and whether a refresh changes previously delivered rows.
4. **Assign refresh ownership.** Identify who configures schedules, checks arrival and freshness, handles schema changes, and tells the customer when reporting is stale.
5. **Prove the access route.** Demonstrate the intended credential scope and recipient access in both systems. Clarify cached copies and access removal.
6. **Accept the destination.** Have the customer's analyst reproduce one agreed result and locate its supporting answers. Record remaining gaps and the correction owner.

Put responsibilities in the proposal. The monitoring supplier owns its documented delivery interface; the integration builder owns the agreed mapping and deployment; the customer's analyst approves definitions; the customer's system owner approves access. One firm may perform several roles, but they remain separate acceptance obligations.

The earlier [screen-to-file acceptance guide](https://www.aixindar.com/news/the-ai-visibility-export-acceptance-test-can-one-answer-be-traced-from-screen-to-file) addresses whether evidence leaves a dashboard intact. This buying decision continues into the customer's operating system: can that evidence remain correctly related, current, and usable there?

## Questions buyers ask

### Is an API always preferable to files?

1. A small periodic analysis may work with controlled files. An API is useful when the customer can fund and own continuing extraction and maintenance.

### Does a connector remove implementation work?

It reduces some connection work. Data modeling, report design, permissions, refresh checks, and acceptance still need owners.

### Can an API pull every historical answer?

Only if the actual endpoint, retained data, plan, and filters permit it. Obtain a dated sample and a stated boundary.

### Does “API sampling” mean customers receive an API?

1. It can describe how the supplier collects answers. Customer-facing retrieval is a separate capability.

### What should determine the shortlist?

The demonstrated route into your destination and the responsibility for keeping it useful. A broad feature list is insufficient.

## Sources and review boundary

Official links sit beside the narrow claims they support. Supplier documentation, product-team confirmations, and proposed acceptance requirements are separate evidence layers. Direct HTTP requests to two Gumshoe help pages returned 403; official web-index text was available, and those restrictions were retained without authentication or circumvention. Writesonic's direct request failed; its official documentation was readable through the web research tool. Public-source accessibility does not establish customer-account behavior. No prices, client results, guaranteed recommendations, or independently measured product scores are asserted.
