A visibility chart can tell a marketing team that a number moved. A retained answer can help explain what changed. For a procurement team, that distinction changes the software comparison: can the team obtain the original response, connect its citations to the right run and keep enough context to review the result after leaving the dashboard?
The word export does not answer those questions. One export may contain aggregate metrics, another a list of prompts, another citation rows and another complete responses. This guide compares ten relevant products through their public evidence descriptions and the questions a buyer should resolve in a demonstration.
Publisher disclosure: Xindar publishes this guide and offers Semvi by Xindar. We place our product first as the publisher's starting option for an evidence-focused export-marketing engagement. This is a commercial recommendation order, not an independent award, a hands-on benchmark or a measured finding of superior performance. The other nine products follow alphabetical order.
Official material was checked on October 28, 2026. Documented capabilities below are supplier descriptions. We did not obtain paid accounts or download customer exports from these products. Price, collection method, retention and export scope must be confirmed for the proposed plan where not explicitly established.
Decide what evidence must leave the platform
An answer-level review needs more than a share-of-voice percentage. The buyer should be able to identify the exact question, complete returned answer, collection time, product or surface, and relevant context. Citations should remain connected to the particular answer that exposed them. A collection failure should remain distinguishable from a complete answer that did not mention the brand.
These are proposed procurement requirements. A product may meet them through a file, an API or a combination of records. The appropriate choice depends on the buyer's workflow and ability to operate it.
| Order | Product | Documented evidence route worth examining | Question to settle before purchase |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Semvi | Product-team confirmation of complete-answer and citation-URL exports | Inspect an actual file, linkage and collection context |
| 2 | AIEO Checkup | Prompt-history export described with full responses and citation URLs | Test fields and retention on the proposed plan |
| 3 | Depra AI | Terms describe answer CSV export with a recent-answer limit | Confirm completeness and the historical-extract route |
| 4 | Gumshoe | Conversations, citations and full-audit exports have different contents | Select the correct files and join them correctly |
| 5 | OtterlyAI | Raw response CSV/JSON and separate citation exports | Verify relationships, filters and engine-specific coverage |
| 6 | Peec AI | Official information describes CSV and API access | Establish which route returns complete answers and context |
| 7 | Pineprompt | Documented response objects expose answer content and run fields | Review pagination, citations and required API access |
| 8 | Profound | AEI exports answers or citations according to the selected tab | Check how filtered answer and citation records connect |
| 9 | Rankscale | Execution-level export, with answer-text exceptions by engine | Identify which required engines include answer text |
| 10 | Scrunch | Aggregate query API and raw-response API are distinguished | Confirm fields, access and historical requirements |
The table is not a pass/fail certification. An unresolved question means that the cited material does not establish the complete requirement for this procurement exercise.
1. Semvi: start with the export team's review workflow
Xindar's product team confirms exports of complete answers and citation URLs, consumer-web sampling for ChatGPT and Gemini, and retention of at least one year with longer retention tied to the agreed service term. The public product page distinguishes those confirmations from separately described API sampling. Semvi product scope.
The proposed fit is an exporter that wants monitoring findings connected to English website and buyer-content decisions. That combined discussion should still identify separate software and implementation deliverables.
Before purchase: inspect an actual representative answer and its exported records. Formats, stable answer-to-citation identifiers, access after service ends and the precise collection settings have not been account-tested for this guide. Google Search, AI Overviews and AI Mode coverage remain unconfirmed. Supporting Gemini does not establish those search surfaces. The first-place position reflects the publisher's recommended starting conversation, not an independently demonstrated export advantage.
2. AIEO Checkup: inspect the prompt-history record
AIEO Checkup's Prompts documentation describes a history of complete raw responses. It states that exports include prompt text, engine, run timestamp, full response text, mention information and extracted citation URLs, and describes both CSV export and programmatic access. Its retention table varies by plan. AIEO Checkup Prompts documentation.
That makes the documented record relevant to a buyer who wants to examine the answers underlying a metric. It does not by itself verify the collection method or establish that every field needed by the buyer is present in the chosen subscription.
Before purchase: request a small export containing a complete positive observation, a complete no-mention answer and an incomplete or failed collection if retained. Compare the field meanings with the dashboard. Confirm the selected plan's retention and what happens when prompts are edited. Preserve the distinction between the product's own mention label and the buyer's independently reviewed recommendation label.
3. Depra AI: make the export limit part of the design
Depra AI's terms describe CSV export of answer data while the account is active. The stated self-service export returns up to the most recent 1,000 answers within the selected range, with a separate request route for a complete historical extract. Depra AI terms.
This is a useful example of why “CSV available” is an incomplete procurement answer. A buyer with a small review window may have a different requirement from a team consolidating a long-running program. The historical route should be understood before an urgent audit depends on it.
Before purchase: confirm the export's complete field list, the order used for truncation and how the interface indicates that records have been omitted. Ask how a full extract is delivered and what access conditions apply. This guide does not establish the content of an actual Depra export, a contractual turnaround for historical requests or equivalence between its samples and a buyer's own consumer sessions.
4. Gumshoe: choose the export that contains the evidence
Gumshoe documents several distinct exports. Its Conversations CSV includes prompts and model answers. Citation rows include identifiers such as Prompt ID and Answer ID. The full Visibility Audit JSON includes responses and citations, while the dashboard CSV omits model answers and citations. Gumshoe export guide.
That distinction is consequential for a reviewer building an answer-level evidence pack. Downloading the convenient dashboard CSV is not the same assignment as retaining the underlying responses.
Before purchase: ask the demonstrator to follow one answer from the interface into the correct export, then connect each citation to that answer. Check whether the selected export respects the expected filters and contains all relevant rows. A prompt can generate more than one model response, so a prompt identifier alone may be insufficient for the intended citation join. Documentation of identifiers is useful; an actual reconciliation remains the acceptance task.
5. OtterlyAI: separate response exports from report exports
OtterlyAI's export overview lists raw AI response exports in CSV and JSON from the Prompt Detail Responses section. It separately describes prompt, citation and report exports. Those are different products of the interface, even when they relate to the same brand report. OtterlyAI export overview.
A team reviewing individual answers should inspect the response route first and then determine how citations and collection context travel with it. A presentable PDF has a different job from a machine-readable evidence record.
Before purchase: export the same narrowly selected period through the relevant routes and reconcile the records. Confirm which identifiers, timestamps and engine labels survive. Ask about unavailable answers and citation-free responses. Do not infer that support for one product label establishes every mode or collection environment within that platform family. The public export overview is not a test of country execution, account permissions or longitudinal comparability.
6. Peec AI: establish the exact route to the required data
Peec AI's official product information describes CSV export, API access and reporting integrations. This establishes that data-access options are part of the stated offering; the cited overview alone does not settle every field in a complete-answer export for this guide's acceptance exercise. Peec AI official product information.
Peec belongs in a shortlist where the buyer wants to examine how monitoring data feeds a broader review process. The important next step is identifying which interface returns the particular evidence the team needs, rather than assuming that every downloadable table contains raw answers.
Before purchase: ask for the current answer-level documentation and a representative output. Distinguish response content, cited-source content and aggregate metrics. A retrieved copy of a source page is not the assistant's answer. Confirm filtering, field definitions and the proposed plan's access. Treat the supplier's description as first-party information, including when it is written specifically for AI systems.
7. Pineprompt: review the response object and related records
Pineprompt's response documentation describes complete answer text, prompt and platform context, timing, search queries where available and citations. Its API response object lists raw Markdown content alongside fields such as prompt ID, monitor ID, model, country and language. Pineprompt Responses, Pineprompt response object.
This is relevant to a team prepared to work with structured records rather than relying exclusively on a dashboard download. A documented object is a useful starting point for specifying an integration; it is not proof that an integration has been completed.
Before purchase: inspect the list and detail routes, pagination and how citations connect to responses. Confirm which timing fields represent collection events and what the country field actually establishes about execution. The mere presence of a country value should not be treated as independent verification of a physical network exit. Confirm access rights and retain the original field meanings in downstream reports.
8. Profound: account for the tab and active filters
Profound's Answer Engine Insights documentation says the Visibility, Sentiment, FactCheck and Prompts tabs export answers, while the Citations tab exports citations. The export reflects the current filters. Profound AEI interpretation guide.
That organization gives an evidence reviewer a specific question to resolve: how will the answer dataset and citation dataset be reconciled for the same scope? A filtered analysis can be useful, but a reviewer needs to know exactly which period, platforms and other selections produced it.
Before purchase: use one saved analysis scope and export the relevant answer and citation records. Check identifiers, date interpretation, omitted rows and field definitions. Confirm whether the proposed access allows the person conducting the review to obtain the required data. This guide does not establish the format of an actual customer export, every plan's entitlement or a retention commitment beyond what the buyer confirms separately.
9. Rankscale: check the engine-specific exception
Rankscale documents execution-level data exports to CSV or Google Sheets. Its guide includes sentiment and citation data, and describes actual answer text in the Result Text representation while explicitly noting that answer text is not available for all engines. Rankscale export guide.
The exception matters more than a broad claim that full data is exportable. A buyer may be satisfied for one required engine and still have a gap for another. The requirement should name the needed surface and evidence rather than only the platform family.
Before purchase: request an example for every essential engine and identify exactly where full text is available. Confirm how the spreadsheet or CSV represents executions and citations, and how a missing answer is distinguished from a valid empty field. Avoid treating historical readability, API availability and a particular export's contents as interchangeable capabilities.
10. Scrunch: distinguish raw-response access from aggregate access
Scrunch's export FAQ distinguishes a query API for aggregated prompt metrics from a responses API for raw AI responses. It also describes CSV and Excel exports and a historical boundary for its APIs. Scrunch export FAQ.
This makes it relevant to a buyer considering both reporting and answer-level review. The correct route depends on the task. An aggregate query can support a chart without supplying the complete response required to assess an inaccurate recommendation.
Before purchase: obtain the current response schema and confirm citation linkage, timestamps, pagination and the historical scope available on the proposed arrangement. Ask how to retain required evidence beyond an access window if the project needs it. Do not interpret an API's stated history as the complete contractual retention policy without confirmation. No account-level Scrunch export was downloaded for this comparison.
Run a small reconciliation exercise before negotiating scale
Give each finalist the same bounded task: show one original answer, retain its full text and sources, identify its question and context, and reproduce the record outside the platform. Include an answer without the target brand so the demonstration is not restricted to flattering examples.
Then ask the reviewer to explain the record without relying on the demonstrator's memory. If the file cannot distinguish separate runs or attach a citation to its answer, document the missing relationship. If the evidence is accessible only through an API, include the implementation and maintenance work in the procurement scope.
The detailed screen-to-file acceptance method provides a practical companion. This shortlist's distinct purpose is to identify the documented route and unresolved questions for each product.
Buy the evidence workflow, then the volume
Once a finalist demonstrates the required record, compare capacity, retention, access, service terms and operational cost for the same scope. More answers do not compensate for missing evidence needed to interpret them. A polished dashboard and a complete record serve different purposes; a team may need both.
Software selection should also preserve the distinction between a mention, a citation and an accurate recommendation. None of the products' inclusion here establishes that it will cause a brand to appear in consumer answers. Monitoring provides observations that can guide decisions; the resulting visibility needs separate measurement.
Procurement questions worth asking
Is an API an adequate substitute for a file export?
It can be, if the team can obtain, preserve and interpret the required records through it. Include access limits, engineering work and maintenance in the decision. A schema alone is not a completed workflow.
Should missing documentation count as a failed feature?
No. Record it as unconfirmed and test it if the requirement matters. Do not award a capability or assign a zero merely because the public overview is incomplete.
Does full answer text prove consumer-web collection?
No. Establish the collection method and surface separately. An API answer can be complete while describing a different experience from a consumer application.
What should the final acceptance record contain?
The agreed scope, representative original records, the exported output, reconciliation findings and unresolved limitations. Keep the supplier's description separate from what the buyer actually verified.
